Prenatal Care
At Teamwork Birthing, we provide comprehensive maternity care. This includes all prenatal appointments, standard labs (drawn in office) and pap smear, ultrasounds (offered in office as well), labor/delivery support and postpartum care.
We believe in offering the highest standards of care with up to date research and education to patients while allowing complete autonomy and individualized care.
Prenatal care follows the routine schedule of every 4 weeks until the 28th week of pregnancy, every 2 weeks until the 36th week of pregnancy and every after until the birth. Every woman will have access to prescription medication as well as natural remedies.

Home Birth
We include both water birth and VBAC options. Birth and postpartum is attended by 2 licensed midwives or a licensed midwife and trained birth assistant.
Included in the midwifery package is medication and equipment to keep home birth safe including IV, antibiotics, anti-hemorrhagic medication, neonatal vitamin K injection and neonatal erythromycin eye ointment and all routine labs for the mother and baby.
The birth certificate and social security card will be legally filed by the midwife free of charge.

Postnatal Visits
Postpartum care should not consist of only a 6 week visit where you are "cleared" to return to normal activities. At Teamwork Birthing, we offer the initial postpartum visit in the comfort of your home along with unlimited access to the midwives via text/phone call between in person visits. We understand that the postpartum time can be overwhelming and we are here to help you navigate through.
We offer customized postpartum care including mental health screening and referrals, pelvic floor referrals, breastfeeding support, newborn metabolic screenings and more.
We want the transition to motherhood or adding more children to be as smooth and joyful as possible for your family.
